we can go anywhere with time to spare.
Oct. 7th, 2004 10:31 pmI really want the Aladdin DVD. I can't explain why. I like the movie, but I can't explain my extreme desire to see it again. It has some of the best music out of the '90s Disney animated flicks ("Prince Ali", anyone? "Friend Like Me"? What about "A Whole New World"--another song that shouldn't be covered?). I remember going to see that movie in the theaters. I keep thinking it came out in 1991 for some reason, ’93 at the latest. Either way, I was still pretty young, younger than nine. It came out in winter. I had a wicked case of strep throat, and my grade (first or second, like I said, I don’t remember what year it came out) went to this brand-new movie theater in Raleigh to see it. We stopped at Burger King before going to see the movie, and everyone else got to go play on the playground and I couldn’t go out because I was sick. I couldn’t even talk, so bad was my case of strep. That’s a very vivid memory. But yes. Candice wants the Aladdin DVD, people.
I have my Whopper wrapper next to the computer so that I can get my free song. Yeehaw. I don’t know what I want to download, though. So many songs.
I’m addicted to Kewlbox! Wordo is my favorite game. I found it via Merriam Webster.com and I’ve been playing it since then. Fun game.

There's a song -- "Proud Of Your Boy" -- that Ashman and Menken wrote for the movie that was never recorded cause they changed the plot. And Clay recorded it! It has this behind the scenes stuff wherein they gush about how perfect he is to sing it, and he randomly acts cute and says a bunch of sweet stuff about his mom, and then he sings the song with a full orchestra and it's SO SWEET AND PRETTY AND IT MADE ME CRY.
So needless to say, I already have the DVD. The movie kicks ass too, but... Clay!! Dammit, now I need a POYB icon.
