enamouredBefore I go to work on this project, let it be known that I'm a bit on the disappointed side today. I can't ask everyone to take it easy on me because hi, that's kinda unfair. I'm kind of disappointed because of the results AND because of the low young voter turnout: same as last time. I mean, CRIKEY. That's just sad. People want to gripe about how they won't do this or that or how they want different laws, but they opt not to try to do something to possibly guarantee that their voices would be heard? What's wrong with this?
So. Yes. There's a reason I don't talk about the major issues (politics and religion): because I'm a bit of a coward and I don't want people disliking me and because it's just SOMETHING THAT IS NOT DONE IN POLITE CONVERSATION (tm Miss Manners). It's mostly because I don't want to alienate someone or make them mad. I'm a wimp and I know it. I'm sorry. This is probably one of the few times I'll essentially let my stand on something be known, and it's in my usual "skirt around the issue" way. At least I'm being honest.
