Lost completely weirded me out last night. But yeah.

I've been trying to locate one of the first pieces of fan fiction that I ever wrote (circa 1998, meaning seventh grade), and I haven't found it. But I did find random notes from Christy and our silly Celebrity High School roll call thing and the CHS superlatives. Oh, the things you do in screenwriting when you're thirteen, bored, and celebrity-obsessed. Hee.

Wade Robson has a thread at Fametracker. DANCING HOMEWRECKER! Is it wrong of me to want a t-shirt that reads "I [heart] the Dancing Homewrecker"?

Nothing is weirder than waking up from a trippy dream and realizing that your nose is pressed into one of the stuffed animals on your bed. And you were dreaming about this German guy you had a crush on when you were in third grade. And he had a mullet in your dream. Yuh.

I have just realized that I am a complete forum lurker sometimes. It's mostly because of the fact that I frequent TWoP and Fametracker, and I'm not really witty or snarky. I used to be a regular at some boards, but they were more focused on one subject and things were kind of laisse faire and the mods posted frequently and they were cool and they wouldn't ban you. I'm kind of intimidated by that aspect of TWoP and FT. I got banned at TWoP once before, so I'm kind of shaky when it comes to posting over there. Stupid Shack. But yeah, that had no point.

I like the people on the friends list at my GJ, but if any of them MOVE JOURNALS ONE MORE TIME I'm going to scream. Crikey, people. I know I'm indecisive, but I'm not so indecisive that I have to change my journal name every three months or delete it on and off. I don't hate y'all or anything, but still! DAAAAAAANG.

The people at TWoP and FT seem kind of elitist when it comes to accepting new posters, I've noticed. It kind of annoys me. That doesn't mean they don't make insanely hilarious or witty comments, though. I'm a complete lurker too, so I feel ya on that one.

yeah, that's kind of the vibe I get. Prior to my first banning, I started posting mostly because of American Idol, and, well, it was chock-full of the Clay people. They were cool. Everyone else, not so much. But eh. They slay me, so I stay in the shadows and come out to play ocasionally. [g]

Seriously. People who change journals every 3 months drives me mad! :\

Wade! The homewrecker is my namesake.

And yes, he does rap poorly.

Why were you banned from TWoP?

I got banned because I posted in an AI thread before the show was over. I don't have a cool banning story like anyone else. [g] But it was very upsetting because I'd LOVED that screenname.

My one regret in life is that they STILL haven't approved my membership to Fametracker. I saw the Wade thread today and every post was something nice about him. I've been wanting to post about Wack Robson and his stupid dance moves all day, but I CAN'T!

saw your question on friendsfriends and since i'm not a member of that community, here's what i was going to say:

this is the definiiton i found here.

"A ficathon, for those who've never done one before, is basically an anonymous writing challenge. In this case, you list a couple of things you'd like to read and the kind of thing you normally write. You get an assignment. You write it. You don't tell the person you're writing it for until the deadline has passed, and then you can do whatever you want with it. And at the same time you're sweating blood or having fun (or both) with your fic, someone's writing one for you."

a fic challenge is that you write a story, sticking to the general rules of the challenge, like the AU challenge or the crossover challenge.

hope that helps!

YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Now I totally don't feel as confused, even though I've written for both before. For some reason, I always pictured a ficathon including a bunch of semi-disgruntled writers pounding out stories for 72 hours. Kind of like NaNoWriMo, only on crack.
