Random little thing of the day: when I was about four, The Little Mermaid came out in theaters. Before I saw the movie, my mom bought me a video version, except the video was an anime. I watched it a couple of times but stopped and tucked the video away 'cause it had the original ending (the mermaid dies at the end!) and, you know, when you're four, that's pretty sad. Plus, by that time, I'd gotten the Disney version on video and Disney beats all. Well, this is the version I had when I was little! I thought I was making it up for the longest time. But surprisingly, all these years later I still remember the creepy sea witch's face.
