Been awhile since I've done an entry in list format. Let's do it, okay?
1. PEOPLE WHO ARE/WERE INVOVLED WITH THE JOURNAL PROJECT!!!! Because I'm a ditz: who has the journal now? Please e-mail me, comment, SOMETHING.
2. Oh my God, you can't be serious. This is funny to me, as The BAP Handbook is one of my favorite books. Which is sad. But also funny. They do have ratings communties for everything, I swear...
3. American Idol! Out of the guys, I like Bo and Anwar best. Behind them: Anthony and Constantine (don'thurtmeplease). And Nikko is okay. Mario walks a fine line. And Scott's just... okay. Out of the girls: Nadia (I [heart] her thismuch) and Jessica, then Lindsey and Vonzell. Janay, Mikalah, and Carrie all must go, though I'm fairly certain Carrie's going to make top 12. Simon's actually favoring some of the people I like, which worries me. Seacrest has nice arms. And if I were on there, at some point I would totally sing "For the Love of You" by the Isley Brothers, because that song is awesome.
4. I forgot my stuff for math, so no studying in the math lab today. CRIKEY.
5. You ever want to add certain people to your friends list but are secretly terrified to, as you think they are far much cooler than you and would be all, "who IS this lowly minion"? Maybe I'm just paranoid and this is all those years of feeling insecure around people IRL who really are cooler than me, making me feel completely unworthy of their friendship and/or time. But still. There are people whose journals I love reading but I never friend, because I think I'm supremely lame. And I doubt people feel that about me, 'cause, well, I don't think I'm intimidating. I'm overly chatty, yes, but as far as being cooler than cool? No, Lord no.
6. I've had a hard time getting to sleep the past couple of days.
7. I have a craving for cover songs. I like Darren Hayes's version of "In Your Eyes"--it's on the Best Mix CD Ever--and I have an MP3 of Edwin McCain singing "Romeo and Juliet" by Dire Straits. It's kind of longer than the original, but it's pretty good. And Jamie Cullum's "I Could Have Danced All Night" is great. I still have my fantasy list of "If I Ever Get Famous and Get to Do a Cover Album" songs.
8. Dear People in Charge of Lost: WHY DID YOU EVEN START WITH THE WHOLE "MAJOR CHARACTER IS GOING TO DIE" THIS SEASON THING?! It's driving me friggin' CRAAAAAAAAAAZY.
9.
lostchallenge is truly going to be the death of me.
10. I LOVE the Grassy Knoll thread at the AI forums at TWoP. I have my own theories but none of them are postworthy. Instead, I read everyone else's thoughts, and sometimes nod along, no matter how paranoia-riddled they seem. Then I watch and see if they come true. I love conspiracy theories, hence my unholy love of that thread.
11. My ears have been bugging me for two days now.
12. I will stop with the American Idol talk for a little after this, but... most interesting theme night they'd never do? New Wave. Snort.
