May. 29th, 2005 08:29 pmMy mouse is a piece o' crap. I want my movable mouse back.
Something I've learned in the past few days: if you press the "home" button on your keyboards, you go to the top of the page. If you press "end", well, it's self-explanitory. I feel horribly slow after learning this, kind of like how I felt when I found out that if you click on the little head part of someone's username, you go directly to their userinfo. Neat.
I have an obnoxious bump on my chin. I don't know if it is a zit or if it's a really nasty looking mosquito bite. I've tried to get rid of it by conventional methods: generous usage of zit cream, compressing, and even trying the whole reverse psychology "if I ignore it, it will go away" thing. But it's not happening. And it's too big to try to do anything of the squeezing variety to.
I saw The Longest Yard last night. It was quite good. Typical Adam Sandler flick, meaning that you'll like it if you are a thirteen year old boy or you're really easily amused. And the last time I checked, I was very female and of legal age, so I fall into the latter category. The previews were awesome. I got to see the previews for War of the Worlds, The Island, and like, two other action movies that I really want to see (but I cannot remember the titles of the movies, sigh). And oooh, this Wednesday the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants movie is out, yay! If only I wasn't broke, then I would totally go see it.
And, for the interested: pretty boys!

Date: 2005-05-30 03:20 am (UTC)It was a big deal because they wanted to shut down Route 8 (which is the one of the main north-south highways in the state) so there wouldn't be cars in the background, and the town laughed at them.
It was great. Look for my car during the movie!

Date: 2005-05-30 03:26 am (UTC)They filmed some of the college shots in Dawson's Creek at Duke University. They were casting for extras the summer I was fifteen, but by that time I was already in Texas and couldn't stay to be an extra. I was very bitter about this, as I thought I would be able to meet Joshua Jackson, who I have loved since I was eight years old.
