when did reality become TV?

My confession of the day: even though I haven't watched a season since New Orleans, I STILL want to send in an audition tape for The Real World. Of the types of people who go on there, I would probably be the token black chick or the token innocent girl.

You could create your own stereotype: the Naive Black Girl. I will, of course, be the Irene of the group. I'll just get tired of being on camera all the time and they'll make up a story about how I have ADD like Ghandi and then the In The Closet Homophobe will slap me on the face after throwing my Martin Sheen poster in the hot tub.

I'd have the same problem. I would be the Principled Yet Tolerant Christian Girl. And you're only allowed to be a devout Christian on that show if you're going to A) be evil and judgmental and bitch at everyone about everything they do, or B) throw your principles out the window and let everyone else take turns corrupting you.

I'd be the Loner Girl. Like, I'd participate in the work and stuff but generally stay away from the Drama and be like the Observer Girl or something.
