The Andy Milonakus Show is one of those things that really makes me worry for the future of our society. It ain't funny. It really isn't.

So, NaNo is a month and a half away, and I'm getting antsy. I've had my plot since August, and now I'm starting to get some random ideas. So basically, my main character's gonna go back in time, so I'm going to have her freak out and start doing online searches about time travel, just because she's curious. So I've been writing down random things and explanations for why she rememebers her life before switching back, and I came up with "rewind/fast-forward theory". Trust me, it will HOPEFULLY make sense when I can start writing. I am officially sad, because I want to start writing like now. But NOOO. I'm saving all the juice for November.

Randomly: whenever we used to do poetry units in school, I never really liked e.e. cummings. I was always distracted by the nonuse of capitals and so on. But now I kinda like his work, and this is an awesomely hot poem. And, oh God, I just had a mental image of Paris Hilton saying "That's hot." And worst of all, I can do a pitch-perfect imitation of her saying that.

I tried NaNo last year, but started to panic when everything didn't fit exactly how I wanted it to. I think I'm going to try again this November. I need story ideas like whoa, though. I just can't decide on only one. Hopefully I won't be too nervous about finals and other such pains in the rear to finish.

Of course, I'm writing this from the coffee shop on campus between classes. Praise God for wireless Internet. I mean, what else is there to do? Study? Psh.

I love e.e. cummings! Even if you have no clue what he's saying. It always just sounds beautiful, and you kind of get a feel for what he means just by the sounds...it's hard to explain. And once you have a teacher explain it to you, it's always really brilliant.
