Random update time!

So, LJ has added the "schools" feature now. Hrrrrm. I thought about putting my high school and [current] college in my profile, but maybe at a later date. Or something. Wonder if they'd ever backtrack to elementary and middle schools, for nostalgia's sake.

Speaking of early schools: I went to ratemyteacher.com and looked up one of my old schools and was surprised to see what someone wrote about the PE teacher (who was fairly "loved" by the student body--I thought he was okay, but he certainly wasn't my favorite teacher ever; those honors go to my third grade teacher and my sixth and seventh grade math teacher and Ms. Breen): I hATE YOU! I am SO glad I am no longer attending [school name], solely because of your exsistence, not only at the school but in life. In LIFE? DUDE. I'm starting to seriously wonder if I know the person who wrote that.

I was, however, VERY surprised to not see my Evil English Teacher from high school not mentioned--and dissed. I am tempted. SO very tempted.

I signed up to possibly be vice president of the Literary Club. Am I getting myself in over my head? I mean, I have enough to worry about, what with fantastically bombing a government test and needing to focus more and so on, but... it'd look good on transcripts.

Ack. Transcripts. I should so be looking up info for Schools to Transfer To. My list, at the moment, has UNC Chapel Hill on it again. Even though I got rejected. Somehow I suspect that they found out that my family has ties to Duke. But seriously, I just found out that they have one of the best journalism programs in the country. But it costs TOO FRIGGIN' MUCH to go there, and well, we all know what happened the last time I set my eyes on an acclaimed Dream School, right? Eh.

Non-academic note: For crying out loud, if I see one more mention of Veronica Mars in the Lost episode thread, someone is gonna get smacked 'round the head. I GET IT. VM is a good show! NOW GO TALK ABOUT HOW GOOD IT IS ON THAT BOARD. Crikey.
