I had a surprisingly good day. I actually felt hot for once (and I never use hot in relation to myself) and even though I stammered through my oral report in government, all in all it was a fairly decent day. And yay, the weather got cool so I got to wear my sweater and break out my black "Daria" boots (so called because they resemble the ones from the cartoon, only mine have a heel).

So, last night on Lost: is the whole thing with the button and computer starting to remind anyone of the Miligram experiment? (though last night I was all, "This is just like that experiment where they wired the people and were fake shocking them!" and my dad was like, "My, aren't you coherent?", except not.)

--awww, Locke and real!Helen. Somehow, I have a horrible horrible feeling that something bad happened to her.
--Locke's dad? So not cool. Monumental a-hole's more like it.
--the minute Desmond freaked out about the busted computer, I was like, "They're gonna get Sayid, right?" Y'know, since Sayid is the MacGuyver of the island.
--no me gusta Ana-Lucia. I want her and Sawyer to have an intense loathing of each other that stays and doesn't evolve into OMGpotentiallurve. We all know how I feel about that.
--dude who threw the three guys in the hole was CREEPY.
--I miss Shannon. I say that unironically. But then, most of what I say is said without irony... did that make sense?
--Desmond is forever Creepy Sexy Desmond. COME BACK, CREEPY SEXY DESMOND! I LOVE YOOOOOOU, BROTHA!

And in the previews: JIN SPEAKS ENGLISH--which makes us all collectively scream OH EM GEE DUBUEW TEE EFF! Ana-Lucia hits Sawyer--again. This is turning out to be a little Fight Club, people ("Hit me as hard as you can."). Claire finds something--the bottle with the messages? Please tell me Hurley just didn't tell Charlie that there's food down there because he forgot or whatever. And Jack catches Kate coming out of the shower. Please, Powers That Be, tell me you're not going to try to revitalize that 'ship. Though, randomly, how cool would The Real World: Craphole Island Hatch be?

Am I the only person who wanted to make Jack a frickin' flow chart? "Look. We have documented the evidence that IF the button is pushed, THEN nothing bad happens. We have no IDEA what happens if the button is NOT pushed. Therefore, PUSH THE DAMN BUTTON AND SPEND THE NEXT 108 MINUTES HAVING YOUR DAMN EXISTENTIAL QUANDARY."

And whee, there's Claire! Since I only stated watching this show because of my RP 'ship. Which is kinda sad. Random question: does she put on an American accent on the show or sound Australian?
