Hi! Sorry about the delay in posting my letter. Hopefully, this will reach you ASAP and shouldn't be too much of a problem.
So, due to some awesome algorithm/voodoo/hiccup of the universe, you get to write something for me. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Just kidding.
But to start off, here's a general idea of what I usually like in my fic. I am enamored of romantic comedy type tropes (meet cutes, snarky banter flirting, one party being slightly less experienced than the other), and comedy/silliness overall. But at the same time I also love drama--just not drama for the sake of drama and angst for the sake of angst. Like, death just so that the characters can be depressed and possibly driven to self-harm or suicide? NO THANK YOU.
I like it when characters sometimes just have conversations, especially if there's something else going on underneath it; a little bit of double meaning or double entendre, whichever. I like friends as supporting characters being goofy and/or hammy, and happy/upbeat or bittersweet endings. I love it when there are references to little details in canon, and I LOVE romantic tension that's just about thisclose to being resolved and there's only a faint allusion to it possibly happening later.
Or, you know, the "fireworks/train going through a tunnel" route.
Ratings-wise, I'd say as long as it's not greater than R, I'm good.
Flash Forward (TV 1996)
Characters requested: Becca Fisher, Tucker James, Christine Harrison, Miles Vaughn
OH FLASH FORWARD, SHOW OF MY PRETEEN HEART. I remember begging my dad to set the VCR up so that I could record the final episode, and I remember squeeing like a maniac when Becca and Tucker kissed. Years later, I remember reading on some now long-gone fansite that had the show survived into a second season, Becca and Tucker would have tried to be a couple in high school. So I'd love to see something about that--that whole idea of the two of them with their relationship redefined and everyone else kind of observing them, with Miles and Christine having to deal with the whole shift in focus for them.

My friend Laura posted this on Tumblr during the summer, and it made me laugh. So then I posted BOY BAND ALL THE THINGS, which made Laura respond with "PHELPS WAS OBVS THE 5TH MEMBER BUT LEFT TO MAKE IT ON HIS OWN."
Long story short: an AU with Cullen, Ryan, Michael, and Nathan as a boy band. Estranged or together, whichever. Just shenanigans with them doing their boy band thing. That's all I want.

Characters requested: James Bond, Queen Elizabeth II
I loved the "Bond escorts The Queen to the Opening Ceremony" skit so much. Not only because I am all over anything involving Daniel Craig's Bond, but because of the Corgis and the Queen parachuting out the helicopter. All I want from this is basically how Bond ended up getting that job. And maybe something with him cuddling a Corgi later. And the Queen being all, "So, you're the double-oh that I've heard so much about."
Pitch Perfect (2012)
Characters requested: Chloe, Aubrey
I loved Pitch Perfect. Like, a lot. And I was really intrigued with Chloe and Aubrey's relationship, as they were the only Bellas from the year before and obviously had some history there. And when they started fighting right before Beca came back near the end, it seemed like they were getting really personal, so: how are they so close, has Chloe ever tried to talk to Aubrey about her homelife, do they sing any other 90s pop songs besides "The Sign" in the showers, did they hook up in the past and refuse to talk about it anymore, etc, etc? I usually am pretty neutral when it comes to slash/femmeslash, but there is something about them that I just want to know MORE about.
