I think Ana-Lucia just panicked, but still, you're right. We have already been given too many reasons not to like her, I don't see how they can turn her around now.

The timing of when they killedd her made it just horrible...her and Sayid were finally really reaching a really good place with their relationship, and we had just learned enough about her to truly understand her, and then...

But seriously, the look on Sayid's face at the end there? PSYCHONINJA FACE OF DOOOOM. Ana Lucia may wind up dead sooner than we think, dudes (well, probably not, but...yeah, intense).

I can honestly say i'm not that sad about Shannon, since I spent most of my time during the first season wishing she wasn't there. But now that she's gone... I miss her :(
BUT I think this means Sawyer will have a miraculous recovery. Score.
