I totally want my Entertainment Weekly with Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger to be in my mailbox today. Over the past couple weeks, EW has been arriving not on Friday or Saturday, but on Monday or Tuesday. I WANT MY MAGAZINE NOW, PEOPLE.

My Geeky Obsession of the Week: Finding out things about the Spanish Flu outbreak. PBS ran some specials on it this week, and now I'm all looking at articles and stuff about it. I don't know why I do this. It makes me paranoid, but I'm so fascinated by it.

And kpuchon and goneplatinum and I all share a birthday, and the two of them have previously done birthday icons, so I thought this time I'd return the favor.

just when everyone is in the holiday mood, right after all the big After Thanksgiving sales, but far enough away to avoid the dreaded Birthday/Christmas gifts.
my little brothers birthday is 12/27 and he ALWAYS gets the Birthday-Slash-Christmas gifts! i feel bad for him sometimes!
