Procrastination will catch up and bite me in the derrieré someday, but until it does...
Lately I've found myself wanting to dress slightly more girlie. Not like, three inch heels and little skirts girlie, but, I don't know, I can't describe it. Like, for example, almost all of my winter coats are big, bulky things with linings. Not that there's anything wrong with that--Lord knows there isn't, because when I'm cold I want to we warm--but I want like, more feminine coats. The coat I wore today was bought from the men's department at Sears, and yeah, it's warm, but I want like... something like this or even like this. I think I want to be a little more preppy, as I suddenly want tons of polo shirts and rugby shirts and cuffed jeans and ballet flats. I'm talking oh, '60s or '80s preppy or whatever, not worshipping the Holy Trinity of Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister preppy. I don't know. I want to look professional and neat without trying too hard. And I STILL can't find a freaking pair of flats that I like.
Any suggestions from more fashionably informed people?
PS: anyone who was following my NaNo progress at
december10. I will totally post the next chapters when I finish them. And I intend to finish the story before the end of the year (I hope I hope), so... yeah. :)
Double PS: I love reading
negroclash, but I'm too scared to join--why?
