So basically... I spent all day Saturday shopping. I got a charm braclet (something I'd wanted for a long time, and it only has three charms on it so far), Clueless on DVD, and other stuff. The madre bought a new tree (because we can't get to our other one, as it is buried in the dark corners of our garage) and we went around and got some ornaments and stuff. And we got March of the Penguins (PENGUINS!) and ordered pizza and watched that.
Last night after I finished some stuff for school, we all sat down and watched War of the Worlds. My brother felt compelled to tell us all that he could "make a better movie", because he thought it sucked. And yeah, I wasn't exactly feeling it. Every time I looked at Tom Cruise I kept expecting him to jump on furniture. I have to say, though, Dakota Fanning can scream like you wouldn't believe. She could be in a horror movie and just be like, a designated screamer.
One exam day down, three more to go and viva la winter break.

Date: 2005-12-12 11:01 pm (UTC)Funny story though. Right after I came home from watching that movie in the theatre, my mom wasn't home. The house was dark with no one home, right after this scifi movie. About aliens attacking.
I couldn't go to sleep so I was online for like an hour or so afterwards, trying to relax and not have some weird fear of aliens.
