I am so going to study in a few minutes, seriously.
I actually bought something from American Eagle. Good Lord.
See, I have an aversion to the Holy Trinity of "Prep" Stores (Abercrombie, American Eagle, and Hollister), because frankly, I don't trust any store that has "extra small" as a size. But I've been wanting a striped long-sleeve rugby shirt, and wouldn't you know it, American Eagle had them. So I went in and grabbed one, and leafed through the girls' clothes some, even though I knew there'd be nothing in my size. The highest size in jeans is a 14, and the shirts only go up to large (and I was all "I KNEW IT!"), but according to the dressing rooms, the site sizes go up to my range. Perhaps I'm just skeptical, because I'm secretly convinced that those companies (well, okay, maybe a LOT of clothes companies) have it out for any girl who is overendowed in the hip and chest area. But maybe I'm just paranoid. But anyway: I got my yellow and blue striped rugby shirt, and it was on sale too. Yay.
But I still don't like American Eagle.
(Well, I like guys who wear the clothes, for reasons I cannot explain, but I don't like the store itself. Does that make sense?)
I was deleting a bunch of LJ reply notifications and accidentally marked them as "spam" in my Yahoo Mail account, so I'm not getting any of my replies. ARRRRGH MUST FIX THIS GEEZ.
When I did my report for computer science about blogging, I read this book that said that one of the ways to get traffic is to A.) focus on a certain topic and B.) have a catchy title. So I've been going back and forth between actually doing the whole pop culturey discussion stuff thing over here again or just leaving my journal as is, a split between real-life junk and entertainment things with more of a focus on real life or whatever. But, well, I don't know. And as for the title... I don't remember how long I've had this one. I used to change it fairly often, but for some reason I like it. I don't know where the idea of she's the girl most likely exactly came from (or exactly how long that's been the title, maybe since like, June/July or so?), but for some reason it fits. And I'd like to get more readers but at the same time, I like things the way they are for me.
Okay, rambling now.
And seriously, I'm going to start studying at 3:30, even though it's cramming and my brain will explode. Everyone pray I do well on this government exam, because Lord knows I need to. I got two crap grades on tests, two decent grades (80-somethings), and pretty good grades on my reports. But I must must must ace the exam--which is comprehensive. Damn.
