Dec. 23rd, 2005 05:54 pmThis site makes me want to go all Amazon and beat up a few--okay, a LOT--of men (even if it isn't serious). No, scrap that. It makes me want to seriously knock the stuffing out of a whole lot of men. Don't get me wrong, I know there are sexist, obnoxious, patronizing, dumber-than-a-box-of-bricks men out there. But stuff like that? It totally makes me secretly convinced that deep down, all guys are grinning at women and secretly thinking, "Hmm, how can I be a complete asshole to every female within a five mile radius of me today?"
But anyway.
I am still fighting a battle against my eyebrows that can't quite be won. I bought eyebrow trimming scissors and still had to pluck some stray hairs. Even after numbing everything beyond belief with ice cubes, it still hurt. And, to make matters worse, I think they're crooked. I am going to have to cave and buy one of those razor trimming things, even though I'm slightly afraid I'll take off an eyebrow and end up lookinga hot mess really bad. Oh, and some might ask, "Uh, why don't you just get them waxed?" That's money that I don't have. Le sigh.

Date: 2005-12-24 04:44 am (UTC)i groom my eyebrows by just taking my razor and getting rid of my unibrow-ish bit, and then getting the stray hairs at the outer sides, under the arch etc, with it. it takes like 30 seconds. i thought of getting one of those trimmy things, but a regular shaving razor seems to work just fine, at least for me. thought i'd pass on the sugestion. just be careful!
