There is a secret at the end of this week's PostSecret post that could've been made by me (except it's not from me). I am terrified of the sound of popping ballons, so much so that I hate being around balloons. My brother knows I hate the sound, so he often pretends he's going to pop one near me if he can get his hands on one. I don't know if that fear is stranger than my childhood fear of ET.

I really, really want to talk to a shrink/therapist because I'm worrying that I have issues again. The ones I've always suspected that I've had plus new ones that seem to be coming at me. Except... I can't afford it on my own. Either that, or I need to get over my issues.

Random request: can someone please find me pictures of girls with mascara running after they've been crying and stuff? I need them about 470 by 470 pixels wide or bigger. Or, you know, general pictures of crying people--though what would really be awesome is a girl listening to music (with headphones on or sitting by a turntable or something) and crying. Yeah.

Wow, that "nervous" mood picture is actually pretty cool; his eyes are so vividly blue.

That's interesting that balloon popping seems to cause issues for you. Have there been any occasions where this has become a huge problem? Have you been to carnivals, festivals, etc, and worried about balloon popping? And, how much DOES a therapy class cost?

Good luck finding an emo-girl picture ;).

I get really uncomfortable at carnivals and state fairs by those popping ballons with darts games. And kid's birthday parties are kind of bad for me--fortunately, I don't get invited to as many now. [g]

My parents forced me into therapy and it can be a good experience, if you get a good one. I've had several different psychiatrists/therapists, and some of them have REALLY helped and others were pretty pointless.

also, I TOTALLY USED TO BE SCARED OF ET.
when he does that neck thing, it used to scare the crap out of me.
And his wrinkly little head was just not cool to sara as a youngling.
I thought he was the ugliest scariest thing ever.
