I took thequestionclub off of my friends list. IT LOOKS SO EMPTY. I honestly didn't realize that, on average, the community gets about 50+ posts a day, explaining why my f-list takes forever to read on occasion. Eh.

And yay, Snarkfest is back!

Question: if you've been using LJ for... at least two years, what is the one thing that you still can't do? For me, it's figuring out how to put a header in a layout, and how to make someone's name (instead of user name) appear when you type their username. I feel so clueless.

And tickets for Franz Ferdinand/Death Cab For Cutie went on sale this weekend, ugh. And I have $3 to my name. And I've never heard anything by Death Cab.

Semagic has a button where you can do that. It's the link button with the shapes and the dialog box that says lj user instead of lj link.

I've just given up on making my own LJ/header/nice-looking. It just never looks GREAT. Only...mediocre. ;P

& yse the username thing is a function on the wonderful Semagic program.

omg yes. I hate them even more when they make the link text say "now onto the fake cut" or whatever similar that they put. If its not a real cut then its a link.

A real cut would have text in the same post, only hidden until you click on the cut tag. A fake cut links to a different post or website from your lj post.

I have absolutley no clue how to make a layout of my own. I know how to put a picture in the background and make the picture fixed and what not, but I don't know how to make it really complex and really freakin' cool looking. I still have trouble with tags. Not the catagory tags, but the things you use in your entry to make a link to a community or something. I always have to check that FAQ to make sure I have it right. I think that's it. I also don't know why "cuteness attacks" or whatever that layout is won't show up correctly on my computer. So don't feel bad...hehe
