I probably should have done this months ago, but: I need to stop hanging around TWoP. Especially the Idol boards.

Speaking of Idol--I'm like, the only person who doesn't think that Katharine was god-awful last night. She sang the song better than that guy last season and J.D. Adams in season 2, for sure. She had this melancholy tone the whole time. Wasn't as good as last week's (I played "Since I Fell For You" fourteen times last week, according to Last.fm), but it was pretty good. And now all the TWoP people--who the week before were fawning over her--are all like, "Ugh, she should go like, now", in so many words, yet they're all pining for Ace (who cannot sing). I should be used to the attiude, but geez. But at the same time I'm getting nervous about Katharine's staying on--there was a board rumor that she was leaving the show, and... ugh. She's my favorite contestant, besides Elliot and Will (and Taylor, kind of). As I said before: curse you, American Idol, for making me care! This will only end in tears!

I didn't mention that I got a piece of king cake and sandwiches yesterday, did I? Yeah. They had a Mardi Gras party at school, and they had food and beads. And I have, for the second time ever, decided to give up sugar and caffine for Lent. Because I like challenging myself.
