I'm still mad that I had to go to my Spanish class today. My lit class and government class both had "reading" days, but I had to go to Spanish. Oy.

Though I'm starting to become a little amused/scared at the fact that I'm actually understanding spoken Spanish more than I ever have. My class is an immersion class, so basically the instructor talks in Spanish the whole time (except when breaking down grammatical contexts and stuff like that), so I guess I'm starting to get some of it. I was in the cafeteria getting my pre-class order of fries (mmmfries) and the guy behind the counter started talking to this other guy and asking him if he wanted a hamburger or a ham sandwich or fries and so on.

This past week I've been suffering from a case of serious stupid.

I can't believe I watched the Oscars practically all the way through. Usually I'm not that into award shows. However, I feel insanely stupid for not catching Jennifer Garner almost fall while walking to present whatever she was presenting, so when she said, "I do my own stunts," I was like, "Huh?" Yeah, I'm a bit slow on the uptake sometimes.

I used to hate Spanish but now I'm obsessed with it. I'm always trying to use it in life situations... yet still pretty horrible.
