(Loose) English translation: I have ticket without return and a pile of dreams inside a suitcase; A goodbye to my parents, much fear and much desire of being able to live. To open my wings to leave without you, to find freedom far from here. A guitar and my childhood, the school and my first time, friends who I have not seen again, remain behind me. A cigarette, a song, the photos of first love, memories in my room, remain behind me.

Over these last few weeks this song has basically become my anthem. I'm off to college in the fall and it'll be my first time leaving Los Angeles for a long period of time. All of this has truly overwhelmed me, making me feel so many emotions at the same time. I'm afraid, for many reasons, but at the same time, I know this is my opportunity to grow up.

This is probably my favorite song from my favorite Coldplay album, Parachutes. It reminds me to take a step back when life gets hetic, to stop and remember that sometimes the world is a really great place.
