People who are calling Katharine "Tits McPhee" need a good bitchslapping. Yes, she hasn't been the most consistent. But her only crimes are having a shrill upper register and being pretty. Women who dis other women, whether they know them or not? Piss. Me. Off. So SHUT.
And I liked everyone in the final three, but Elliott. ;_;
I finally figured out how to program my VCR so that I could tape Lost while I was at work. However, the first two minutes are missing. I haven't watched it yet, but yeah. This bothers me for some reason. It's like when my dad taped "Whatever the Case May Be" last year and the first five minutes were missing and I didn't know what the hell people were going on about with "Me Kate, me throw rock." Yeah.
Which reminds me. There is this kid at my job--seventeen, kind of good-looking, and I suspect he is the kind of good-looking boy that knows he's good-looking and he feels he can get away with just about anything because of this. I say this because ever since the first time we've met, I've kind of had this feeling that he doesn't exactly like me. He's even insinuated once that I had a "man's voice", and, well, I don't and people even complain that I'm far too soft-spoken sometimes. But anyway. This guy--let's call him Pete--knows that I watch Lost. I mentioned it when I traded shifts with this one guy. I was like, "Oh, wanna work Wednesday for me so I won't miss Lost?", in so many words. And then Pete asked me if I watch anime. What my watching Lost has to do with anime, I don't know. I mean, yes, I AM a bit of a geek, but come on now.
So this leads to an event that happened a few weeks ago. Maybe two.
At my job, our uniform is a red polo shirt with the company name on it. You can wear a t-shirt under it if you want. So I had gone shopping earlier in the day, and I wore my gray Old Navy t-shirt with "St. [something or other that sounds like a French resort]" beneath my polo. And after hours, you can untuck your shirt, and if you have a t-shirt on under your work shirt, you're free to take off your polo. So I did that, and Pete says, "You always wear that gray shirt," and at first I was uncomfortable as all hell with this, and I was like, "Uh, no I don't," and he goes, "Yes you do."
And after thinking about this for a while, I came to a conclusion. Him noticing that I wear that gray shirt could possibly mean that he has been checking my... assets. I don't know what bothers me more: the fact that he has this weird, unspoken vendetta against me or the fact that despite this, he has been paying attention to my chest.
