Dear LJ, we need to talk. The new version of the userinfo page? Is fugly. Hella fugly, to be precise. Do not be making this the default, mmkay? Do not try to appeal to the MySpace demographic. Y'all have had plenty of users since 1999, and you don't need to fug stuff up to appeal to more people.

Instead, please consider some of these features:

1. Bring back the birthday announcements. They were super-neat, and I miss getting them!
2. Edit comment feature. Dude, you have NO idea how much easier that would make things.
3. Instant smiting. Some idiot makes an innapropriate and/or stupid comment in your journal? Insta-smiting! (kidding about that one.)
4. More icons for free. Okay, okay, hypocritical for a paid user who still isn't using all of her icon spaces, but still. Give the free users like, ten; Sponsored+ ones maybe fifteen, and keep the same things for the paid users. The bonus ones for each month of having a paid account? Neat perk.
5. A way to tag songs in your "music" profile so that you can see when you listened to the same thing before. It's kind of random, but I just thought of that and figured it'd be kind of neat.

I am seriously going to clean stuff up and go to the mall. And later, I am so going to post some Potentially Fun Stuff because I'm kind of in dire need to entertain people right now. Hurrah and huzzah.

But before I go: WHY isn't Robin Hood: Men in Tights on DVD? Well, it's on DVD, but not individually; it's in the Mel Brooks boxset or whatever. I just want to see that movie really bad.

Those are really good ideas. Have you tried the suggestion box? My goodness though, how many icons do you have? I was counting last night and I stopped when I got to like, 80 something. How on earth do you choose?
