the_hostel, I got to read Runaways 18. And... GERT. NO NOT GERT.
I like ALL of the Runaways. Hell, I even liked Alex. But GERT. She was smart and snarky and she was kind of like Deborah from Life As We Know It in that she still got the cute guy (and for some reason, Chase always reminded me of Chris Lowell, who played Jonathan on the show) and NO. This is distressing. I wouldn't have been pleased if they'd killed off Nico (my favorite, though she is like the Runaways version of Kate from Lost lately--why do I always like female characters who get hated on?) or Karolina or Victor or Chase--but everyone worried it'd be Chase. But Gert! And she and Chase had JUST made up and it's so wrong.
Damn. I am going to feel teary because of a comic.
In other news: saw the first two episodes of Supernatural last night, and I am going to watch the third one later. Very good (and creepy), though nothing will scare me as much as the asylum one. I watched that at 2 A.M. in the pitch black darkness of my room and I was hiding behind the danged pillows and shrieking, y'all. In the middle of the night. So naturally, I have to see more. And Jensen Ackles is pretty. So pretty.
