A Runaways movie could be in production soon! I... don't know how I feel about that. Because on one hand, it could be brilliant, and on the other, they could get Zac Efron to play Chase and I would have to go and shank somebody. (However, I kind of agree with whoever said that Corbin Bleu would be good as Alex. He has the hair.)

I am randomly sad that New Amsterdam got canned. Woe.

I saw Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull yesterday. Across the isle from me, there was a guy and his son, and apparently he'd watched all the other movies with the kid because whenever Marion came on (I am not cutting that because everyone knows Marion Ravenwood is in this one, okay?), the kid was all, "That's the lady from Raiders of the Lost Ark!", which I thought was kind of cute.

the_hostel, I got to read Runaways 18. And... ( Okay, chances are that most of you don't know or really care, but cut for anyone who might. )

In other news: saw the first two episodes of Supernatural last night, and I am going to watch the third one later. Very good (and creepy), though nothing will scare me as much as the asylum one. I watched that at 2 A.M. in the pitch black darkness of my room and I was hiding behind the danged pillows and shrieking, y'all. In the middle of the night. So naturally, I have to see more. And Jensen Ackles is pretty. So pretty.

I'm asking because today I almost got completely caught up on Runaways (four issues, from 13 through 16)--except for issue 17, and I want to know if anyone out there, y'know, reads it too. And I saw the first two Civil War books and know there's a Runaways/Young Avengers one coming out soon and I totally want those as well. And yeah.

I should've probably included a "reccomend a comic to me" space on there, but I forgot, so: reccomend a comic to me. Pretty much the only one I read now is Runaways, and I've read the first Spider-Girl digest and thought it was pretty good, so anything up that vein is cool.

Think of the one song that you just know everyone and their mother's second cousin would make fun of you for having on your MP3 player. You know, the one that you probably sing along to in your car with the windows rolled up. The one you have mental choreography planned out for. The one that you wanted to hate, yet you cannot get out of your head.

One of mine? "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. I love that song, have since I was ten.

I don't get people who disable their Last.fm plugin so that the pop songs they listen to won't be logged. For crying out loud, it is not that bad. Your indie cred will not be lost if you listen to Kelly Clarkson, people.

I keep thinking about my NaNo and the fact that it's unfinished, and I want so badly to finish it, except that lately, I keep coming back to the idea that more of it is close to my real experiences than I anticipated. If I ever wanted to get this thing published, I'd have to seriously alter about 60% or more of it, and--arrrgh. But I want to finish it. I still love the concept, but I... I don't know, I feel weird working on it now, considering the constrained time I cranked out most of it. Performance anxiety, maybe? I shouldn't care so much because it's just a first draft, but geez...

My favorites stay on on Idol! Hurrah!

And squee, Runaways fan fic! you don't know what love is. I am ALMOST caught up. Only three more issues to read before I'm current. WHOOHOO

And this is my second edit, but: I feel remarkably cute today. That deserves mention. I think.
