Thing that bothers me irrationally: when people get my LJ name wrong. It's a lot of s's, I know, but yeah. I think the oddest thing is that I never noticed the aliteration until someone pointed it out to me. Seriously. Try saying [livejournal.com profile] supersyncspaz7 three times fast. As someone who has problems with saying s-sounds (I slur them sometimes and "she" can occasionally sound like "he" to people who aren't used to hearing me talk; and as far as I know I've got no major speech problems besides that), it's murder.

Yesterday at the laundromat, I was loading the last basket of clothes in the car when this dog got in my van. At the laundromat I go to, this black lab hangs out around the outside, and it has a collar and everything, and I'd always assumed that it belonged to the owners. But anyway, it was raining and so the dog came over and just nicely climbed into the car, and curled up on the passenger seat behind the driver's seat. I tried and failed to get it to come out, and finally went in looking for the owner to help me get the dog out. So I finally got him to help me, and after we got the dog out, I was walking it back up towards the canopy covered part of the laundromat, and he asked if it was my dog. Dude! I wonder whose dog it was--it was getting totally soaked. I had to stop and get some Febreeze to get the Wet Dog Scent out on the way home.

In the meantime--what is the deal with the tracking thing? It's making me feel kinda unreasonably paranoid.

I want to kill the country playlist at my job. I have all of the songs that get on my nerves in my head--Gretchen Wilson and Toby Keith's gramatically incorrect song and so many others. Which is, of course, not to say that I have a problem with country, but there's only so many times you can hear the same songs before wanting to hurt someone. The only ones I like anymore are Carrie Underwood's "Don't Forget to Remember Me" and Tim McGraw's cover of "When the Stars Go Blue".

And one last thing--speaking of The Job, Pete (since typing out The Lovechild of Boone and Ben, The Revolutionary Hottie takes forever and I'm friggin' lazy) asked me to buy him lunch today, really nicely and everything. And I did. I'm a sucker, I swear.

You know, I'm guilty of misspelling/saying your username. I just try to remember that you're Candice. And that usually works. XD

I think the tracking thing is supposed to notify you if some action occurs. For example, suppose you track a post. If someone comments on that post, it will send you an email. The thing is, I can't get it to work yet.

ohhh. Now it makes more sense. The whole push pin nature made me envision an LJ corkboard.
