A few random things because it's late and I'm feeling inquisitive.

1. What's your favorite Coke flavor? I'm mean, do you go for Cherry Coke? Are you sad that Vanilla Coke's been somewhat discontinued? Like the new Black Cherry Vanilla Coke or whatever that new one is? Or are you an original formula person?

Or do you prefer Pepsi?

Speaking of Pepsi--have you ever tried their holiday formula?

2. Let's talk Greek/Roman mythology. This year's NaNo is going to be based on a myth. And this leads me to asking--favorite Greek/Roman myth? God/goddess/mythological being in general?

And do astrological signs as we know them come from Greek mythology? I think they do but I can't remember.

(The myth is that of Psyche and Eros, if you want to know.)

3. Why is it that I haven't watched the Lost promo that is causing much squee, yet I am squeeing? I mean, it's got to be more than the whole... well, if you know who I like on Lost, you'll know why I'm squeeing but surely there's another reason.

4. I hate staying up past midnight because I have trouble waking up, and then trouble sleeping. Why do I still do it?

5. I hate my sinuses.

i liked diet coke with lemon until they discontinued it.
and one time my dad said it tasted like dishwashing soap and it kind of made me think about soap every time i had it, thus ruining it.

i like big red.

1. Well, Pepsi Blue was my favorite of all the colas evar. Then it was Vanilla Coke, but now, with both those gone, I go for Cherry Coke.
2. Lol. I just did a post about this in my LJ. My favorite goddess is probably Artemis. My favorite myth is probably the Argonauts, but I used to know a lot more of them than I do now.

And yeah, I think they do.

I stopped drinking Coca-Cola products altogether, for political reasons! I drink Pepsi, but I prefer store-brand cola. Yes, I'm one of THOSE people. *g*

What's the holiday-formula Pepsi? I don't think I've ever seen that in Canada!

2. My favourite Greek/Roman myth...uh...I dunno, I like so many of them! I'm partial to anything with Athena or Hermes.

My absolute favourite pantheon, though, is the Hindu god Ganesh and the Virgin of Guadalupe. I'm pretty fond of all of the Hindu deities, but that's in a kind of chummy familial way. Heh.

Astrological signs are indeed connected to the constellations; your sun sign is based on what constellation the sun was moving through during your birth!

The holiday formula has some kind of spicy tang to it, like cinnamon and something else. It doesn't taste exactly like regular Pepsi, but there's something different about it. I hope they still make it this year; I'm buying a keg. If, you know, they come in kegs.

1. I like normal Coca-Cola. But I do really like Cherry Coke as well. The vanilla/raspberry/heaven/diet/mixed drinks sort of throw me off.

1. I prefer just plain Pepsi overall, but I like Vanilla Coke better than Vanilla Pepsi. I like Cherry Coke sometimes (I actually perefer canned Cherry Coke to what you get at a diner, which is Coke with cherry syrup added). Never tried the Pepsi holiday formula.

I like Classic Coke, and the Black Cherry Vanilla version. The old Vanilla was good too.

I like the Atalanta myth, and especially the Free To Be You And Me feminist version ("...and they crossed the finish-line together."). In that one, they have a nice date, but don't marry, and Atalanta goes off to see the world. My favorite goddess is definitely Artemis.

1. I like plain diet coke or plain regular coke on occasion. I'm not a huge soda person. But when I do drink it it's either diet coke. I also like diet pepsi. My exboyfriend hates coke and refuses to drink it, he only likes pepsi. Really I can't taste that much of a difference. I have never had pepsi's holiday formula. What is it?

2. I like the myth about Narcissious and the woman who loved him and then turned into a weeping willow when he died looking at his reflection. I don't know what it was called though.

No Coke or Pepsi for me. I've never tried it, any of them. I think the dark color scares me. lol Same for Dr. Pepper and all other dark soda's. But I love Cherry 7-Up, Code Red Mountain Dew and Minute Maid Orange.

I love learning about Greek mythology, but I don't have a favorite god or goddess.

I haven't seen any Lost promo's yet. I'm surprised none played in the commercials during Grey's Anatomy.

Regular Coke is my last resort. Give me Cherry Coke, Vanilla Coke, or Black Cherry Vanilla Coke anytime. And since they taste basically the same to me it's all good.

The LOST promo I saw did not make me squee like a fangirl, leaving me to believe there must be another one out there somewhere.
