enamouredOn Friday, I won four tickets to the State Fair--by sheer accident, kind of. And I also got a pair of pants I'd been wanting for at least a month for $19.99. Yesterday, I got pirate boots! They are pirate boots only because they have buckles.
So there's this other guy at work that I... might be attracted to. Unlike Pete, he:
I.) speaks to me on a fairly regular basis,
A.) has given me a nickname (almost everyone in the department has a nickname, usually one with "nizzle" or "dizzle", except the one given to me by This Guy)
II.) he is not afraid to touch me, as in, casual contact touching. Pete avoids coming into contact with me in any way possible. He tries to never brush past me, to never bump into me, everything. He acts like I have plague.
And on top of that, The Other Guy (no clever pseudonyms for him yet) has a Very Nice Speaking Voice. This is one of his main draws. The only celebrity voice that is slightly comprable is Jensen Ackles's, only not as deep. And the smile? It is muy perfecto.
This, of course, creates a plethora of problems, in that I'm clandestinely pining over him and he could possibly have someone who is interested in him or vice-versa, and then there's my complete lack of skills concerning the rules of engagement in regards to liking guys and doing something about that. So this means that I get to angst more about it. Yay.
And I had a dream about The Other Guy and He Who Shall Remain Nameless. WHY LORD WHY.

It was very exciting and I almost killed a little girl for her doll. No lie.
