Oh, it feels odd to be up and watching Saturday morning cartoons for the first time in forever.
But anyway, puppy story!
Yesterday my mom woke me up and said that she needed me to go to Wal-Mart and get a dog carrier for a small dog. As I was somewhat groggy, I was like, "Huh?" so she repeated herself. I got up and started to get ready some, and I went to Wal-Mart, got the carrier and then went to get some puppy chow (as Mom called me back and said we needed to get some), and then I drove over to her job.
The whole time, I wasn't fully processing it all, I guess--I thought that someone at her job had gotten a dog and needed someone to get the stuff for them. Anyway, I got there and pulled up into the parking lot, and my mom was in her car, so I go over, thinking I'm just going to make a quick drop off, and she says, "Oh, we've got to take it inside," and then, "Oh, and you can't take her home--" and I was like, "Oh. Wait, what?" And we went in, and some of the patients in therapy and the therapists were in there, holding onto her.
I didn't get to stay too long (had to go home and get ready for work), so I dropped the stuff off and cooed over the puppy (who was then nameless) some, and then I left. Hours later, I got home and my mom was asleep in one of the recliners with the puppy in her lap. Apparently, I missed out on naming her, because my brother suggested Pepper and that's what my mom was already calling her. I couldn't really object, though, because it fit.
But anyway, ze pictures!
Babar is on CBS right now! I remember when it used to only come on HBO.
