I miss Pepper. My brother's taken her off to visit with his girlfriend, I guess. I miss her running around hyperly already. I'm puppy-hooked.

And I'm also really, really exhausted, a little physically, but also a bit mentally, in that I'm sick of feeling like I have to jump through hoops just to get something that I want.

So lately, a lot of people I work with have been saying that I look younger than I am--Stephen, this one guy, said he thought I was sixteen or seventeen until he found out how old I really am. But then I have customers who randomly ask if I have kids, or if I'm married (and the guy who asked this might've been hitting on me, ew). Ugh. I went through a stage where I looked older than I was and now everyone's saying I look younger. Good grief.

Apparently, David Bowie is guest-voicing on Spongebob.

God, I'm tired.

I get the age thing too. People always assume I'm 15 or 16 and when I tell them I'm 21 they're all NO WAI!!111!eleven! But when I was 14/15/16 I always had problems with people thinking that I was older. One specific time I remember was when I was 14. I was catching a bus somewhere, school probably, and if you were under 15, you got child fare, 15 and over was adult fare unless you had a concession pass. So as I was 14, I asked for a children's ticket and had a fight with the bus driver:

YOU'RE TOO OLD! PAY FULL FARE!
I'm 14...
THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE A STUDENT BUS PASS!

But the thing was, to qualify for a student bus pass, you had to be 15 :/

I get 17 all the time, even though I'm 23! it sucks! Not really, but I don't think I look that young...
