Today I got to thinking that I haven't taken pictures for fun--or just to see if I actually still love doing it--in awhile. I want to take another batch of pictures of Pepper, to compare how she looked when we first got her (it was almost a month ago!) to how she is now. She's gotten bigger, definately.
But like I was saying: I haven't taken pictures for the sake of taking pictures in a while. I spent my junior and senior years of high school with a camera, expected to document the lives of my classmates. I was seriously considering a career in photojournalism, but I haven't taken a picture that matched the quality of my good ones from then in a while. Some of the ones of the puppy come close, but I want to try to do that again--just kind of capture "slice of life" type pictures or something.
So I was thinking about this and thought about maybe making a project. Like, there are people with photoblogs, and I was thinking of doing the "picture a day for a whole year" thing, but other people have done that. So I thought about making a community or something, for anyone else who would want to try to take a picture a day for a month or something.
I think I'll try that soon.
NaNo status: WRITING LONGHAND. Because I'm crazy and I can type pretty damn fast, so when I get the chance to do that? Oh boy, it is on. First chapter might be up at
december10 tomorrowish, perhaps.
Have not said anything about Lost last week because A.) it was awesome, the end, B.) I was OMGLOLFINALLYing at Britney Spears divorcing FedEx (BEST NICKNAME EVER), and C.) I was doing other random things, like scholarship essay (650 words on how the internet has helped you with school) and editing my short story for the Seventeen short story contest.
PS: It is going to massively suck when Heroes goes on hiatus next week. THAT SHOW IS KILLING ME.
More later.

Date: 2006-11-14 05:36 am (UTC)I think so. I might be wrong, though. But if it does? I will cry. At least it'll be back in January and will hold me over until Lost comes back.

Date: 2006-11-14 05:46 am (UTC)I mainly don't want it to go on hiatus because my roommate's fiance will FREAK OUT worse than anyone else. He loves that show.
