It's kind of odd how you can feel like you're insignificant (whether in real life or online), but someone will do/say something that will make you feel like you're actually part of a greater whole. For example: I made these icons about a year and a half ago, and for the first time today I discovered 43People, and look! And then there's the fact that my "no new Island Pope" icon is still circulating on various Lost fan boards all this time later.

Does anyone else use del.icio.us? I'm obsessively updating right now.

Oscar nominations: The Departed! IF IT DOESN'T WIN I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN. I don't really have many opinons, re: Best Actor/Actress--the only movie I've seen out of the nominated is The Devil Wears Prada. I hear that Forest Whitaker is scary good in The Last King of Scotland, and I'm totally surprised that Leonardo DiCaprio didn't get nominated for The Departed (or Matt Damon for that matter). Like I said in my (handwritten) journal: I knew Will Smith would get a nomination for The Pursuit of Happyness (still need to see that). And Ryan Gosling! Supporting Actress is so between Abigal Breslin and Jennifer Hudson. I have no real idea why I am obsessing over these details.

I think I didn't see a single movie that came out last year except for Casino Royale. And if Daniel Craig got a nom (that's his name, right?), I would fall over and die of shock ... so clearly, I'm out of the betting pool this year. Le sigh.

Yep, that is his name (I saw it twice). I was hoping that "You Know My Name" would've gotten a Best Song nom--kind of futile, but still!
