Random notes from the front:

Last night at work, we were visited by a Reebok representative. I learned a few things about the make of Reeboks and that the Freestyle was one of the first athletic shoes specifically designed for women, among other things. There was also a raffle for stuff--kind of like the one we had when we first moved into the new store and the Nike reps showed up--and I won a water bottle, a drawstring bag, a key chain lanyard, and a cap.

I'm slowly (but surely) making my way through Firefly. I got the DVDs a few weeks ago, when I got my dad his Father's Day present and I'm getting hooked. I remember wanting to watch the show during its original run but always being too preoccupied with something to watch. I think my favorite episodes so far are "Shindig" and "Our Mrs. Reynolds".

Hours have been cut at work this week. I'm only working fourteen this week. Crap.

hee, my mom works at a furniture store and the same thing happens, 'cept with mattress makers. One time she went to the Serta factory in Vacaville. They had a whole information/party thing for the workers. My dad, brother, and I busied ourselves by visiting the Jelly Belly Factory and checking out downtown Vacaville. Very small.
The factory people eventually let us into the patio area to eat with Mom. She got Serta sheep from them, stuffed versions of the ones in the commercials. We have lots of those sheep now.

Sorry, random story. Hope everything goes well, even with less hours.

"Shindig" and "Our Mrs. Reynolds" are two of the best episodes, overall. I mean, KEEP GOING there are some really good ones on the way ... plus the Big Damn Movie ... but you're not alone in your love for those eps. (Also, the preoccupied thing? Like, everyone I know felt it too. Like. GEE, IT'S FRI. AT 8, LETS WATCH SOMETHING ELSE)
