Nov. 27th, 2007 10:29 pmWhile I was on one of my random Wiki searches (and reading up about one of my favorite Simpsons episodes), I stumbled upon this:
OH MY GOD THAT SOUNDS SO AWESOME. I am getting a bit of reality show burnout (and really, the only one I watch anymore on a semi-regular basis is American Idol), but this show sounds like it has the potential to be so very cool.
Also, a random question. I was at work and they played "Mary, Did You Know" when they were playing Christmas music on Black Friday. I was completely unaware that that song is supposed to be considered a Christmas song, because when I was in Catholic school, it was always one of the songs that we sang during Stations of the Cross, so I associate it with Lent. Does anyone else have that connection? Or is it just me?
Tontine is a combination of Survivor and The Amazing Race, Tontine will follow 15 contestants as they invest their entire net worth to travel to all seven continents in 100 days and contend for the $10 million prize, the biggest in reality TV history. Contestants each start with a key, and the final contestant who possesses all 15 keys unlocks the grand prize.
