Okay, you all know how I feel about Zac Efron (if not: let me refresh your memory). Yet I find these pictures of him somewhat attractive. MAKE IT STOP. PLEASE GIVE ME SOMETHING ELSE TO LOOK AT BECAUSE I AM SCARING MYSELF.

Two days later, and I'm still in almost-disbelief about Brad Renfro. Damn.

I feel the same way you do about Efron. I was looking in my new Cosmo last night, and there was a decent picture of him. And when I say decent, I mean he doesn't look like he's wearing makeup.

The Zefron thing: when I was in CT, shortie86112 and I watched Hairspray (which I loved because it's so campy) all we could talk about was how frighteningly asexual Zefron was. However, if I was twelve, I would proudly display the ripped photos of him from Bop in my locker next to my Lisa Frank notebook--which would hold my secret plottings of Vanessa Hudgen's untimely demise so he would love ME! It's his nonthreatening sexuality that appeals to the young ladies.

The sad thing about Brad Renfro is that he was so young. It shows exactly what happens when you get too much, too fast. I mean, I remember begging my parents to take me to see Tom and Huck as a kid. My sister preferred JTT and I liked Brad. A few years ago, he was arrested on Skid Row. I kinda knew that this was coming. Anytime drugs get someone it's sad. I feel kinda like I did when I found out Chrissy from Now and Then died.

(I loved Tom and Huck, man. I remember being oddly overly interested in the part where they were both covered in mud. I was a weird child.)

I keep putting off watching Hairspray because too many people said they got Zefronitis watching it. I am mildly afraid to watch it because of that, even though I keep saying, "BUT CJ IS IN IT! AND QUEEN LATIFAH!"

Is James Marsden good in it? Crap, now I'm gonna buy it at Blockbuster because it's on the 4 for $20 table.

(I also had a crush on James Marsden back in the day, when he was on that show Second Noah as the hot older brother, and then when he was in The Notebook I felt bad for him, even though Ryan Gosling was the hotness in that movie.)

James Marsden is FANTASTIC. And he has a great singing voice.

I too felt bad for him in The Notebook. I'm tempted to go and see 27 Dresses because he is in it. He sure is dreamy. Also, I saw Enchanted and while Patrick Dempsey is supposed to be the male lead, I was all about James Marsden. Pick the prince, Katy from The Office, not McDreamy! Sadly, nobody else agreed with me.

lol. I had this discussion/argument with a friend way back. (In my journal, sadly, because I have no real friends willing to discuss Zac Efron.) While my sentiment was his creepy factor was vaguely reminiscent of a hammerhead, my friend pointed out he wasn't any worse than Aaron Carter. Skinny bones and pointy teeth. At least Mr. Efron seems to be growing into his fairly well.

I basically had the same reaction to the Zefron photos. He would make such a pretty little girl though!
