in which I have food issues.
Feb. 5th, 2008 05:09 pmOHHHH MAN. These cupcakes look DELICIOUS. I need to bake more. Hell, I need to cook more. Or, rather, learn how to cook better than I do now.
I am thinking of giving up caffeine and candy for Lent like I did a few years ago. How I actually followed through on it not only through Lent but through half of the summer that followed is still something that amazes me. I gave up caffeine, candy, and most fast food for Lent that year, though.
So I guess that means that the cupcakes will have to wait until after Easter. WOE.

Date: 2008-02-05 11:25 pm (UTC)I gave up chocolate one year and was really good about it. It was middle school and it became the 40 days when everyone decided to be nice and bring chocolate to school :(
This year I think I'm going to give up some of the LJ communities I read. It will force me to spend less time online. I hope it works.

Date: 2008-02-06 02:30 am (UTC)My friend just reminded me it was lent... I normally give up soda for lent. Fast food is another one that would be difficult. We don't go that often but often enough that it would require some sacrifice.
I have much to think about tonight.
