I have discovered TV Tropes, and I can't stop reading. OMG. Several things have made me break into peals of laughter, though (and on occasion completely inappropriate peals of laughter, like, oh, during that one scene in that certain high-grossing movie that involved making a writing utensil DISAPPEAR, and YOU GUYS KNOW WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT OR I WILL AT LEAST ASSUME A GOOD CHUNK OF YOU DO). Half of the theater let out this horrified gasp/shriek when that happened, and the other half started clapping. That, my friends, qualifies as a Crowning Moment of Awesome.

(Conversely: I wonder if I have ever had a CMoA. I desperately want one.)

And yeah, that scene got an interesting reaction from the audience I saw it with. Shock/horror followed by uncomfortable laughter.

And I didn't remember it from when I saw it, but I read somewhere online that this utensil was pointy side down for the "trick" which...OW!
