Jul. 25th, 2008 11:09 pmI just got done watching The Shawshank Redemption, and--why have I not seen this before?! It was excellent.
Hours got cut back in a MAJOR way today. I only worked from nine to twelve. It was vaguely disconcerting. I got paid today, I got off work early, so I played with the dog and then fell asleep watching The Golden Girls, only to wake up a few hours later and head to Blockbuster (where I rented TSR and Kill Bill and bought some movies from the 4 for $20 table), annnnnd that's been my day.
I wish it wasn't almost August already. I still haven't finished reading my last stack of library books and the two I bought at the beginning of the month (The Road and The Somnambulist, both of which I am refusing to read until I finish said library books).
Last thing: John Mayer will be in Dallas next Friday. I have money. I can buy a ticket. I'm off. I want to go. BUT. I am having second thoughts because EVERYTHING IS GOING UP IN PRICE RIGHT NOW and though I love concerts (and have been wanting to see Mayer live since, oh, 2004), I am loathing the idea of caving to Ticketmaster's crazy-ass service fees. But I really want to go. Should I say the hell with it and go or just wait until the next time he's on the road?

Date: 2008-07-26 06:38 am (UTC)I wanna go to the So You Think You Can Dance tour, but it's #38 without dumb ass fees so I'm guessing it's closer to #50 actually. What bullshit.
