enamouredYesterday I pulled out Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too by the New Radicals and I listened to it on the way to work. I had forgotten that I liked that album so much. I still remember catching the video for "You Get What You Give" on evening on MTV2 and really liking the song, and voting for it on TRL (because it was a foregone conclusion that either the Backstreet Boys or *NSYNC was going to be #1--remember those days? Sigh). The band broke up after they released "Someday We'll Know".
I rearranged my CDs last night. I have 74 albums, and my CD total is probably higher due to the crazy amount of singles I have stashed someplace in my closet. While I was stacking everything in order (alphabetical, by artist's first name because I'm weird like that), I wondered if anyone else is like me and keeps CDs in some kind of specialized order. Half the hardcover books I own are in alphabetical order (the other half just sits elsewhere since I am low on shelf space), and my DVDs are in alphabetical order too.
Oh yeah, and I will just repeat what I said about this on Tumblr: "THERE IS ONLY ONE PATRICK VERONA." Though: dude, they got Atticus Finch's grandson! But besides that, I have known about this project since this summer and I am still baffled by it. Why didn't they just do it, I don't know, ten years ago? They did the Clueless show a year after the movie came out! Or, I don't know, how about they not do a show at all? Sigh.
Finally: I have a fierce urge to listen to more Earth, Wind, and Fire. Sadly, I only have this one song on my Zune.
