I love Friday Night Lights so very much, but I do have to warn you that Season 2 has some iffy moments.

Agreed. That said, Season 1 is as close to a perfect season of television as I have ever seen. (And I've seen it four times now, I think -- I keep luring new people in to watch it with me.) Watch!
