Wednesday afternoon, relaxing.
Apr. 15th, 2009 04:00 pmHere's something kind of cool.
I don't remember when I first saw the trailer for The Brothers Bloom. I want to say that I saw it for the first time during The Dark Knight, but I'm pretty sure that's wrong. But it was during a summer movie that I saw, and I remember going, "Hey, that looks really cool. I want to see that."
The Brothers Bloom was supposed to have been out in theaters last fall, but it got pushed up to February or March. But now it's coming out in May, and during the AFI Film Festival at the end of March, they had a special screening of it and Adrien Brody was there for it, and I had to work that night and I didn't get to go, sob (they also had a screening of 500 Days of Summer and I missed that too, which also sucked).
Well, on Tumblr yesterday someone posted this hand-drawn poster for the movie, and I reposted it with "I have been waiting for this movie since last fall. Love the poster!" as a caption. And then I checked my "followers" (which is the Tumblr equivalent of people who add you as a friend), and I had a new follower.
Oh, internet, things like this would never happen without you.
In other news: I don't care what kind of tattoo you get, but there are just some that err a little too close to tacky. Jessica Alba's is on the tacky side. I just... a bow, there?
