Five points:

First: Oh man, my hormones have been failtastic this week. I do not appreciate a whole week of nausea and feeling like I'm being constantly poked in the sides with sporks.

Second: If I have my film edited by Monday, I can have it submitted to be in the intro student showcase. :D

Third: I'm gonna go see Star Trek at 10 A.M. tomorrow. My dad told me to tell him if it's good or not. When I was a kid, I have vivid memories of watching at least two shows with my dad in the evenings: The Cosby Show and Star Trek: The Next Generation. I have a rudimentary knowledge of the original Trek, since I've only seen episodes from TNG.

Fourth: The Brothers Bloom opens next weekend, whee. I can't wait for that movie.

Fifth: I ordered Perfect Fifths on Monday and I got it in the mail and finished reading it yesterday. My response: EEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeEEEEEEeeeeeeEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeEEEEEEEEEE.

I had a Kermit-esque flailfest when I was done reading. FOR REAL. LIKE, I DON'T EVEN KNOW. Is it sad that I wish they'd make it a movie even more now? Because there has to be a guy somewhere who is capable of pulling off Marcus, even though if/when they ever do start casting I will probably pitch a fit like those girls who were all EWWW ROBERT PATTINSON whenever he got stuck cast as Edward Cullen.

I really liked it. I liked the 3rd person POV. Jessica's worldview is very limiting in that we only see what she wants to see. The 3rd person opened us up to a whole new world.
Also, how is it possible that the book only took place over 18 hours?!? So much happened. And it was great to see Jessica/Marcus grown up and functional adults.
While Second Helpings will always be my favorite of the series, I loved Perfect Fifths.
I know a kid who looks just like Marcus is described to look-lanky, red hair (for a while he had dreads). I don't want a movie, because I don't want to turn into a Twilight Mom over the series. It would piss me off if they messed with the books in any way. I'd be a nerd: "Excuse me! On page 177, Jessica describes the Clueless Crew as 'dumb and vapid.' In this scene, they are described as 'vapid and dumb.' That's just not right! WHY ARE YOU RUINING THE BOOKS."

OMG WASN'T IT AWESOME?

I think it falls second favorite in the series, only to Second Helpings.

And YES, I want a movie more than ever now. I want NEED to see/squee over the Barry-oke scene.

YES!!!! I feel the same way about SH too. I just remember barreling through that one in almost the same way and finishing it with a mile-wide smile.

I so desperately wanna read that book esp. since I have the author on my FB feed and she's always hinting at juicy things and I'm like,"I HAVEN'T READ IT YET!!!!!"
