JC Penney is, as far as I know, still having a massive sale right now, and I went in yesterday during my break to check out the deals. At the location nearest to me, they're tearing up half the perfume stand and half of the lingerie area to put in a mini-Sephora. Um, yay!

I went and checked out the shoes, and I saw a pair that I have no business owning yet kind of want. They are purple patent loafers. Seriously, guys, they are adorable. They'd be better if they were gray, but beggars, choosers, you know.

And finally: all I can say is wow.

Wow, much respect for John Hughes. It is awesome that he took time to be a fan's penpal and actually cared about the common film viewer's opinion. I haven't finished reading that blog entry, but I'm gonna show it to my sister.
