Even though I was scheduled to go in to work at 2 today and I usually don't go to church on Sundays when I'm scheduled to be in at 2 since services at my church usually are over at 1 and that would leave me exactly an hour to drive from church (in Dallas) all the way back to my neck of the woods. But I went, and I left the church at about 1:05 and I was making good time until I was about 75% of the way there--which is about where my house is located--when my cell phone rang. I didn't get to pick it up before it went to voice mail, but when I did pick it up I saw that my job had called. So I called back and my department manager picked up and told me that they had to cut hours, and I didn't need to come in.

And since I was only scheduled to work today and tomorrow, I'm now down to just working one day.

I am only working FIVE HOURS this week.
