enamouredI am in dire, dire need of a personal music device of the digital variety. Now would be a perfect time for it to start raining money so that I could buy one and also take care of a few other things that I need to take care of. Ugh. Anyway.
Day one: a song
Day two: a picture
Day three: a book/ebook/fanfic
Day four: a site
Day five: a youtube clip
Day six: a quote
Day seven: whatever tickles your fancy
The site: 1,000 Things I Want in a Lover. There are tons of great thematic Tumblrs out there, and I follow quite a few great ones (Fancy Fast Food, Why They're Hot, Movie of the Day, Psychotherapy, Songs You Used to Love, among others), but this is the one that has been one of my consistent favorites. Users submit traits they'd like to have in their ideal mate, and they're funny and sweet and all too true for me. Maybe it's just because I'm kind of a hopeful romantic, but yeah, there you go.
(Conversely: I've been using Tumblr for almost a year now, whoa.)
