I will never understand why people who were unrepentant assholes are currently having the time of their lives while I'm kind of stuck in a hole of suck--can someone please explain this phenomenon to me?

my opinion of such things has always been that everything gets balanced out eventually. some people have their fun now and their lives suck later. some people's lives suck now, but get better later. some people's lives are just on an even keel all the way through. that's how i look at it, at least.

Because life is a mean, dirty crackwhore that gives good people figurative STDs, that's why. Assholes get what they want, and the rest of us can just die in a fire or something.
