I feel like I need to print out this article and tape it up at my job. At least once a day I have encounters with people who are all, "Do you have the Easytones or the Shape Ups?" and when I point them in the direction of the shoes they look like they've found the Fountain of Youth or something. I wish there was a quick fix to losing weight and toning up my legs like everybody else, but I know that just shoes won't help that. Come on, now.

Anyway, enough about my gripes about shoes. How are you guys?

I tried out the MBT shoes, because they had a "try it for 3 days with no obligation to buy" promotion at a local shoe store. I liked them at the time, but when I stopped using them I realized that they must have been doing bad things to my hip, because I've been having major issues again.

3 days in wonky shoes and having to go back to my orthopedist to see if I fucked up my hip again? So not worth it. Plus the shoes are so ridiculously expensive.

I actually own a pair of Shape-ups and, all weight gimmicks aside, this is the first time in five years that my knees didn't hurt after a long walk. Screw weight loss - the simple fact that I can walk for long distances and not feel like my joints are made of sandpaper is a plus!

Work is boring.

Muse is biting.

/Random commenter is random./

I was going to post about this! Ha! I have ShapeUps, and I'm paranoid about getting them dirty or stolen cause they're pretty much 50 bucks a shoe.

I didn't notice fabulously shrinking thighs, but I did notice that the change in center of balance makes my feel feet better during long walks during day to day. Fountain of skinniness they are not. But they change the location of callouses after running. Keeps it interesting!

The workout vid makes me lol though. They choose women with ridiculously thin/toned legs to advertise.
