ficangel, and I am never going to finish anything ever again. Hurray for distraction.
I went to the library and actually checked out three books. And then I looked at my "books read" list and it's at an abysmal fifteen. Usually by now I would be somewhere nearing thirty books or so. I binge-read during summers, usually. This time I've just been watching more movies and TV. Then there's the fact that some of the books I've read this year were long (Going Bovine is about 600 pages, I think? And The Passage nearly 800) and I read only them versus reading two books at once because I wanted to focus strictly on that one story. Either way, the second-to-last book I bought I had to return because there was a printing error: the title page and first 30+ pages were repeated, and after the second repeat the story jumped to page 62. And only Borders carried it and it's available on Amazon, and I don't have enough money in my account over there to pay for it. Woe and alas.
