Nov. 25th, 2010 09:58 pmSo I had plans for today, all right. After dinner I was going to go see a movie. Which one, out of Tangled, Love and Other Drugs, and Burlesque, I didn't know, but it was gonna be one of 'em. I made cornbread and macaroni and cheese, and my mom got home from work at like, 4:30 and we ate around an hour later. I was just waiting for it to be 6:30 so I could get shoes and a coat on (yesterday it was 80 and glorious, and today the high was 39. I hate Texas weather so hard), so I just got one of my fleece blankets and spread out on my bed with my legs hanging off the side.
I woke up and it was 8:30. Hate when that happens.
This week has been good but also kind of sucked. I went to the NaNo write-in on Saturday and stayed the whole night (fun fun fun!) and then I came home to find my mom cranky about everything. I overslept on Monday and missed my e-news class and found that our appointments to pitch three script ideas in screenwriting was postponed 'til next Monday (yay!), but still: pitching three scripts, and to an actual producer. May God have mercy on my soul.
I'm working 1 to 9 tomorrow, and then Saturday I have to go to an art museum to view this exhibit that I have to write a paper about in my painting class. After that, I have work from 4 to 11, and Lord knows what happens on Sunday. Monday I have to do my final package for e-news and Thursday the paper is due for painting and oh my God, can this semester please be over? I need to breathe.
I am debating on whether or not I want to buy a Wii package from Sam's Club that's $300 and comes with an extra controller, two steering wheels, and three games. That's the best deal I've seen on the Wii so far. But I do not want to be up at 5 AM getting potentially trampled. Plus, as I mentioned before, the temperature has dropped crazy amounts and it could very well be freezing if I stayed up there all night.
